The Eat Travel Rock TV host also said she was honored to be Bob’s wife and that he was her biggest food critic but her biggest supporter, the insider revealed.

“She also joked that he didn’t know exactly what she was doing for a living, she was very quiet and made the mourners laugh, but burst into tears towards the end as she expressed her love for Bob,” the source said.

The sheriff’s department and fire department responded to the comedian’s hotel in Orlando around 4 p.m. on Jan. 9 after Bob was found in his room by hotel security.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and is believed to have died of a suspected heart attack.

The death of the star was confirmed by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

“Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call regarding an unresponsive man in a hotel room,” the office tweeted at the time.

They added: “The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

‘DEVASTATED’

Bob’s family later shared a statement to Us Weekly, saying: “We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today.

“He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”

Bob shared twin daughters Aubrey and Lara Melanie, born in 1987, and daughter Jennifer Belle, born in 1992, with his first wife and high school girlfriend, Sherri Kramer.

The former couple divorced in 1997.

Bob had been touring the country at the time of his sudden passing, with his most recent shows being in Florida.

He was doing a show in Jacksonville on Saturday night, staying until the early hours of Sunday morning.

Following his passing, a source exclusively told The Sun: “Bob had been in good spirits the days before, playing sold-out comedies in Florida.

“You can see on his Instagram posts after the show how much fun he had on stage and how excited he was to be back on the comedy tour circuit.”
