Cambridge woman goes viral for wedding vows

If you’ve searched the internet for a heartwarming story today, here it is. Minnesota is in the spotlight after a video of a Cambridge bride taking her vows on Dec. 11 went viral with more than 4.5 million views.

According to Fox News, Vanessa Lynch has decided to say her best wishes to her 9-year-old stepson, Henry. In the heartfelt video, Lynch says,

“Henry, I know I wasn’t there the day you were born, I wasn’t there for your first steps or your first words. But, I promise I’ll be there for many more. your first. I promise to love you if you were mine. And finally, I promise that I will be the best wife for your father and I promise to be the best mother-in-law I can be for you.

In the TikTok video posted by wedding videographer, Yellowfilmsweddings, Lynch, Henry and Craig, the groom is all seen crying as she gives his heartbreaking speech. At the end of the video, the three of them kiss.

According to Lynch’s interview with Fox News, she said that she was generally not an emotional person, “I choked on myself because I could see how much it meant for Henry to hear these things. “
